Suggestions for a Super
Successful Party
Here are some ideas on how to make your party not just fun, but super:

Think
of whom you would like to invite. Typically inviting 8-15 people is
a great number, and typically around 6-12 of them will come.

Send
out invitations around 2-3 weeks before the party date - this way
your guests are more likely to be free. If you would like, I'd be
happy to send you some lovely postcards featuring eeni-ren
designs jewelry to use for your invitations. However, any
method (mail, phone, email, etc.) would work just fine!

I
may be a good idea to set both a beginning and end time for your party
- this can help set some parameters for guests who tend to come or
stay extra late; about 2 to 3 hours is typically a good length.

Request
an RSVP - you want to know who to expect.

Think
about where you'd like to have the jewelry displayed - usually there
are lots of flat surfaces available (e.g. dinig room table, end tables,
buffets, etc.) Even things like dressers, shelf units, or a piano
work in a pinch. The taller the surface (i.e. the less your guests
have to bend down) the better. But - don't worry! We can always get
creative!

Think
about lighting - it's very hard to see the true colors of stones and
pearls in dim light. Consider having your party on a weekend afternoon,
and see if you may be able to move in some extra lamps to the party
space. (I may also be able to bring some extra lighting, if needed).

Consider
having some refreshments. Something light, easy to eat, and non-staining
to the hands is best.

A
few days before the party, be sure to call your guests to confirm
their attendance. This is important, as some people may have forgotten,
or mixed up the dates.

Finally,
and most importantly - RELAX and HAVE FUN. This is fun, non-stressful
occasion. Enjoy yourself!
